Our principal, Mrs. Faller, read the book Porter the Hoarder, to all the first graders today while Tayla Ybarra, a high school speech and drama student, acted out the part of Porter. The first graders laughed and helped answer the questions about items that Porter should keep and items she should throw away (such as a dirty tissue). Afterwards, all first graders received a copy of the book to take home and read with their parents!
