On Saturday January 11, 2020, our two new First Lego League teams traveled to Minot to compete with a total of 21 teams at the Minot Regional Qualifier for the state of North Dakota.
While competing each team gave a presentation on an innovative solution to a real world problem. The Ultra-A team spoke about adding an awning to the bleachers on the football field which would protect fans from wind, rain and snow during outside sporting events. The Lego my Eggo team presented on painting games on the outside basketball cement so that students who do not have the proper outside gear will have something to do.
In addition to the presentation for the judges the teams competed with their robots for points on the playing field. Lego my Eggo scored 225 points and took 3rd place while Ultra-A scored 205 and took 5th place.
