Happy Thursday, Comets!

We’re thrilled to kick off today’s announcements by congratulating the outstanding students and staff members who have been recognized as April’s Students and Staff of the Month! It’s always exciting to celebrate the incredible contributions and hard work happening here at Alexander. Let’s take a moment to give a big round of applause to our winners:

For Elementary Student of the Month, Yukon Waldie, a 5th grader who has earned this recognition for his calm demeanor, resilience, and persistence in everything he does. Yukon approaches challenges with a level-headed attitude and never gives up, no matter the task. We’re proud of you, Yukon!

Middle School Student of the Month is Clara Glover, a 6th grader known for her kindness, organization, and ambition. Clara is always willing to help others and sets a great example for her peers, both in and out of the classroom. Your hard work and thoughtful attitude are truly inspiring, Clara!

And, last but not least, High School Student of the Month: Christian Werkmeister, a Junior who is being recognized for his outstanding performance on the ASVAB! Christian scored impressively high and is planning to pursue a career in the Air Force—what an amazing achievement! We know Christian has a bright future ahead, and we can’t wait to see all he accomplishes. Keep soaring high, Christian!

We also want to extend special congratulations to our Staff Members of the Month- Mrs. Ellen Wittmaier, a dedicated Preschool teacher who brings so much joy and energy to her classroom every day, and Scott and Connie Roseth, two amazing individuals who go above and beyond to support our school community. Your contributions are truly appreciated, and we’re grateful to have you as part of our Alexander family!

Attention High Schoolers! Don’t forget to sign up for After Prom—this year, the fun continues at the bowling alley! It’s going to be a night full of excitement, friendly competition, and the chance to win some awesome prizes. After Prom will take place immediately following the Prom festivities, where you’ll head over to the bowling alley for a night of strikes, spares, and memories. Then, you'll return to the school to wrap things up and claim your prizes. It's going to be a blast, so be sure to sign up!

Next week is Dress-Up Week! Get ready to show your school spirit and have some fun with the Middle School Student Council's fantastic dress-up themes:
