🐐 FFA Fundraiser – Win Trevor the Goat!
Alexander FFA students are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win Trevor the adorable goat!
When you purchase a ticket, you nominate three people who could win him. Those nominees can then purchase “Goat Insurance” to avoid bringing Trevor home. It’s all in good fun and helps support travel and registration costs for FFA events.
🎉 National FFA Week is February 23–27. Dress-up days and activities will be posted soon!
🏀 Elementary Basketball
Grades 4–6 begin practice Monday, February 16th. 📝 Sign-up sheet available in the office.
Thursday (2/19) – @ New England (CT) • C Squad (Grades 7–9) – 6:00 PM • Varsity – 7:15 PM
🏆 Varsity Boys Districts begin Friday, February 27th at the New Town Event Center (Time TBD).
🏀 Girls Basketball – Season Wrap-Up
Our Junior High and Varsity Girls Basketball teams have officially wrapped up their season.
These athletes competed hard every night, supported one another, and never quit. They represented APS with effort and pride from start to finish.
Growth isn’t always measured in wins, it’s measured in resilience, teamwork, and commitment. We are proud of the way they battled through adversity this season. 💙🏀

📚🏅 Read Like Olympians – Winter Read-A-Thon
Preschool–5th grade students are reading at home February 6–23 and tracking their minutes toward Bronze, Silver, or Gold medals.

🏆 County Spelling Bee – February 18
Best of luck to our APS students competing in Watford City this Wednesday for the County Spelling Bee! Students depart at 9:00 AM and return before dismissal. Thank you to Mrs. Schmidt for providing transportation and serving as their chaperone.
Reminder: Alternates attend only if one of the top two students from their grade level is unable to participate.
