This morning, a yellow code was issued while Deputy Swigart investigated a possible threat towards a student. The investigation of the threat was completed and we are back to normal operations.

Flag Football Practice Schedule:
Friendly reminder that grades 3 & 4 will have practice this evening (8/21) from 4:00 - 5:30 pm at the park.
Beginning the week of August 26th - 1st & 2nd grade will practice Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 pm, while 3rd & 4th grade will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:30 pm all at the city park.

Message from APS Kitchen Director concerning School Nutrition Standards
Today, at APS, there was an alarm set off for an active threat. After consulting with law enforcement, it was agreed there was no active threat at APS today but rather this was the result of the construction outside the front office that triggered the alarm. Thank you to all staff and students for efficiently securing in place and waiting for law enforcement to clear the building.
