Congratulations to Drew LeBrun, Dylan Schooley, and Bochelle Taylor for receiving Student of the Month! Drew Lebrun (8th grade) is a leader but when needed can also take on any role that is required within a group. Drew is respectful, kind, thoughtful and is a great role model for his peers. He has great work ethic, attitude and always participates in class. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help others. Drew does not hesitate to take the initiative to complete something that is not asked of him. He takes responsibility, not only for himself, but sometimes for others. Finally, Drew is accepting of all students, no matter their ability, race, or background Dylan Schooley (10th grade) strives to better himself as a person. He is an extremely hard worker. He is a very positive, kind, and helpful person. He is always willing to help others, even without being asked. He strives to better himself and his community, regardless of who is watching. Dylan is known for his smile and has a winning attitude. Over the course of the last month, Bochelle Tayler (12th grade), (Bo) has displayed all of the qualities we look for in a student of the month. Since the beginning of the year Bo’s grades have steadily improved, she has become more conscientious about her studies and appears to be striving towards academic improvement. Bo is always a pleasure to have in class as she is always well behaved and for the most part on task. She has stepped up her game recently and is now helping other students stay on task by providing her peers with redirection when needed. This leadership has been very much needed and is very much appreciated by her teachers and other students. All of these attributes make Bo a worthy recipient of this honor and is consistent with the mission and values of Alexander Public School.
