
The Advisory has been lifted, we will proceed with a 10:00 a.m. start, busses will be heading out shortly. Bus times should be adjusted for the 2 hour delay.

Alexander parents and guardians, there is still a No Travel Adivsory in place. We are monitoring the road report and are in contact with D.O.T. The late start has not been extended at this time, we will update again at 9:00 a.m. as to our plans.

October 10, 2019, Alexander Public Schools will have a two hour late start today due to the No Travel Advisory at this time. Per school board policy if the No Travel Advisory is NOT lifted, the late start may be extended. There is a two hour late start for Alexander School.

Due to weather conditions across the state, the decision has been made to CANCEL the first round of 6 man playoffs. There will be NO game in Drake this Friday Oct. 11th. Championship Day will be next Saturday, Oct 19th at the Rough Rider Football field in Watford City. More information to come.

The volleyball game scheduled for tomorrow, Oct 10th in White Shield will ONLY be a Varsity game. The game will start at 5:00 pm. This is a time change from the original schedule.

First playoff game for 1st and 2nd grade flag football is Saturday Oct. 12th at 10 am. Game will be played at Cote Park Middle field in Williston. This is a single elimination event.

First playoff game for 3rd and 4th grade flag football is Saturday Oct. 12th at 9:00 am in Alexander against the Red Bulls. This is a single elimination event.

The JH football game scheduled on Friday Oct 11th in Drake has been cancelled. Congratulations to the JH football boys on a great season!!

Alexander Public School is hosting the District Volleyball Tournament at the end of the month. We are looking for sponsors for the hospitality room. If you are interested in sponsoring a night of the hospitality room or just would like to make a donation, contact Mrs. Faller, Mrs. Jacobson or Mrs. Heen.

Good afternoon Alexander parents, this week we are expecting some winter weather that may impact school. Just a reminder that APS will send out a phone call if school is cancelled or starts late.

TRP is aware of the color issue with all recent school pictures. They are working with the photo lab at solving. If an solution is not found they will be doing retakes for the whole school. APS will be in contact with parents when a decision on photos have been made.

The volleyball games on Monday, Oct 7th in Trenton are as followed: 5th & 6th graders at 4:00 pm , JH girls at 5:00 pm, JV girls at 6:00pm, and Varsity at 7:00 pm. **Elementary parents please note the change in time.**

Male students who are 18 years old are required to register with the Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. They can register as early as 17 years & 3 months. The easiest way to register is to visit SSS.gov. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Faller or Miss Hansel.

Freshman, junior and senior parents, this is a reminder there will be parent meetings for grades 9, 11 & 12 tonight at 7:00 p.m. The location of the meetings will be posted by the office. We look forward to seeing you.

The cold weather is upon us! With a few flakes flying in the air, please remember to have your students dress appropriately. Hats, gloves/mittens and a warm coat are needed for recess times and bus rides.

Parents of college age or college bound students, the FAFSA is open. All students in college must complete the free FAFSA form.
