Good morning. The Alexander Activities Club will be meeting today, April 18th, at 4pm in Ms. Tonya's classroom at APS. Please join us. We will be discussing end of year activities.

The City of Alexander is seeking motivated individuals for part-time positions from May to September 2024. Ideal candidates should be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Position Details: Duration: May 2024 - September 2024 Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week Pay Rate: $15 to $20 per hour DOE Duties: Outdoor maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming weeds, painting, and other related activities. Application Process: Where to Apply: Pick up applications at the Auditor’s Office, Alexander City Hall. Application Deadline: Tuesday, April 30, 2024, by 4:00 PM. Dear Parents, Earlier today, an incident occurred at Alexander School. Thankfully, at no time was there a threat to the safety of our students, faculty, or staff. Local law enforcement authorities were contacted as a precaution and we will cooperate with them for a full investigation. Due to privacy considerations and the ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide further details about the incident at this time. UPDATE for After Prom Party - the bus to the trampoline park will be leaving 30 minutes earlier at 12:00. They will return to APS at 2:30 for prizes.

Tomorrow after prom, the freshman parents are hosting the After Prom Party. Students will be transported to the Safari Trampoline Park at 12:30 by bus. From 1:00-2:30 students will remain at the trampoline partk. Food and drinks will be provided. The bus will load at approximately 2:30 to return to the school where there will be prizes for all. ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PARENT-SIGNED WAIVER TO PARTIPATE AT THE TRAMPOLINE PARK. STUDENTS WERE GIVEN A WAIVER BUT THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GRAND MARCH. **18 YEAR OLDS MAY SIGN FOR THEMSELVES. Thank you to the parents for all of their work for this fun event.
