Alexander Public School will start two hours late tomorrow morning weather permitting. Buses will run accordingly for a 10:00 a.m. start.
The Alexander Comet Tetrix Team state competition starts at 11:20. It will be live streamed and the link is on the Alexander Facebook if you would like watch their robot compete.
Our 1st and 2nd grade Lil' Comets will be showing off their ball handling skills during tonight's Boys' Varsity game.
We have three home games tonight. 4:30 JH Boys, 5:45 JV Boys and 7:00 Varsity Boys. Concessions is serving chicken bacon wraps, beef barley soup and hamburgers in addition to regular concession food. Come out and feed the family and support our Comets Boys!
Correction to Friday, February 1st, Parent Night for the Varsity Boys Basketball team will be before the game- not during half time. If your student is a boys varsity player, please arrive 20 minutes before the game.
Come watch the Comet Basketball Boys tomorrow night, January 31st, in the Alexander Gym. Both the JV and Varsity will be playing starting at 5:30 pm.
Friday, February 1st, will be Parent Night for the Varsity Boys Basketball team during halftime. All parents will be invited onto the gym floor with their athlete.
Tonight's Boys Varsity Game has been moved to Monday, February 4th at 7:30pm. It will follow a Boys JV Game vs Watford City at 6pm.
Tonight's JH Games and Girls Varsity Game are as scheduled.
The Jump Rope for Heart packets are due by Monday Feb 4th. Please send them with your students on or before that date. Thank you to everyone that participated in Jump Rope for Heart this year.
With the frigid temperatures predicted the next couple of days, all students need to have proper winter attire. Students riding the school buses will not be allowed on without winter hats, gloves, jackets and boots. Any questions or concerns please call the school.
Good morning Alexander families, the No Travel Advisory has been lifted. We will still begin school at 10:00 a.m. with busses running accordingly. Drive carefully and dress warmly.
There will be an organizational meeting for the After Prom Party on Tuesday, January 29 at 5:30 in Miss Johnson's classroom. All freshmen parents are invited to attend as this event is hosted by the the freshmen parents. Bring any ideas that night. If you are unable to attend but would like more information please contact Miss Johnson.

Come join us on Tuesday Jan 29th for a full evening of games. The afternoon will start at 4 pm with a Comet Crusaders JH girls scrimmage. Following the scrimmage there will be a full evening of games against New Town starting with the JH boys, Varsity girls and ending the evening with the Varsity boys. We hope to see everyone there!!
GAME CHANGE: The boys basketball game against Whiteshield scheduled for Friday January 25th has been changed to ONLY a varsity game starting at 6:30 pm.

The menu for Wednesday and Thursday have been switched for this week. Wednesday will be pulled pork, philly steak, coleslaw and beans. Thursday will be build your own pizza.
Junior High Boys Basketball game today, Tuesday January 15th, will be at the Missouri Ridge School in Williston at 4:30pm.
The Girls Basketball game that was schedule in Alexander for January 15th has been cancelled. The girls varsity team will have a game in Alexander on Friday January 18th, starting at 4:30 pm with a boys game to follow.
