Today is Election Voting Day! Alexander School has two school board positions on the ballot. We encourage you to go out and vote and show your support to the school board. A reminder that the voting polls are at the Watford City City Hall, Mandaree School Business Office, and Cartwright Community Hall. Polls will be open from 9:00am to 7:00pm Central Time on June 12 .
Williston Trinity Christian School and Alexander Public School are in a Girls Basketball Cooperative beginning next year. Williston Trinity Christian School will be hosting girls basketball grades 7-12 open gyms on Thursday nights 7:00-8:15 pm. All are welcome!

Per advisement from law enforcement: Alexander School will resume normal status operations on Monday. The investigation is on going. McKenzie County will continue to provide security until further notice. Have a wonderful weekend!
The high school awards program is still scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on May 11th.

Per law enforcement, Alexander Public School will remain in yellow status for tomorrow, May 4th. School will be in session and buses will run as usual. Please contact your bus driver and the front office if your child will not be in school tomorrow. Absences will not be counted. Parents: Due to our current status and the unknown of tomorrow, we have postponed the Math Meet until Monday, May 7th. If you are scheduled to bring in baked goods, please bring them on Monday.

Parents: Law enforcement has informed Ms. Bieber that an Alexander student has received a threat. School will be in session tomorrow however it is your choice to send your child or not. Please call in the morning if your child will not be in school. No one will be counted absent. There will be heightened security. The school will be in a yellow status which means all classroom and outside doors will be locked. There will not be any outside recess and lunch will be closed campus. We will remain in this status until otherwise advised by law enforcement. Please call in the morning with any questions. Buses will run as usual.
We would like to invite parents and family to our high school awards program. The high school awards program will be held on May 7th at 1:30 in the old gym. Students will be honored for academic success this year.
Next week May 7-12 is Teacher and School Nurse Appreciation Week! It is a time that we choose to also recognize all school staff members as it takes a village to raise our youth.
