Dear Alexander School Families, Today our active threat alarm went off due to a faulty wire. Our active threat school response was executed by our staff and students. Law enforcement secured the building and released students following protocol. There was no threat on campus. Huge thank you to McKenzie County Sheriff's Department, ND Highway Patrol, and Watford City Police Department!
Good morning Comet families, looking later into this week there is a prediction of a major snow event starting tomorrow and continuing through Thursday. As always students MUST wear appropriate winter clothing and will not be allowed to ride the bus if they do not. Please monitor the school Facebook and app for any weather delays.
If you have signed your student up to attend HI-5 and they will need to take the bus, please contact the office no later than, Wednesday to let us know that they will be riding this Friday.
FLU SHOTS - Alexander Public School will host a flu shot clinic for students, staff, parents and community members on Wednesday, October 25th. The clinic will be open to the public from 2pm - 5pm. It will be held in the Fitness Center. Please use the new gym entrance. Forms will be available on our school website and sent home Monday with students and need to be returned Tuesday. Please contact the school or Nurse Heen if you have questions.
Don't forget the tailgate party tomorrow for the 9 man football playoff game!
All attendees to the game must pay admission ($10 - adults, $5 - students) as this is a playoff game under the direction of the NDHSAA. This includes students of Alexander Public School.
The punt, pass and kick is a free activity however if participants stay for the football game they will be charged the admission of $5.00.
The game will be streamed through NFHS and no local streaming is allowed on any other platform.

Good afternoon, today Alexander Public School participated in a school-wide ALICE drill. Some classes locked down while others evacuated. Law enforcement was present for observation purposes. If you have any questions please contact the office.

The Alexander Comet football team is heading to the 9-man football playoffs! There is an order going in for t-shirts and sweatshirts, adult and children sizes. Orders are due tomorrow, October 12th by 3:45, so you better act fast! Colors are contingent upon warehouse availability. Order forms are available at the front office and payment is due with your order.
The JH and High School Parent Wrestler Meeting will be on October 11th @ 6:15 pm in the Commons Area.
CHANGE IN SCHEDULE:
Volleyball- 10/16/2023 Games @ Divide County are C Squad/JV/Varsity. JH will not be playing.
Tomorrow, Tuesday October 10th will be JH Volleyballs last game of the season.
