Dear Alexander parents and students, Per Governor Burgum's announcement, Alexander Public School will be canceled this upcoming week, March 16-20. You will hear more from us tomorrow, Monday, concerning continuing education and meal availability for those in need. Please watch our Facebook page, website and phone app for updates. Good afternoon Alexander parents, As one of the precautions at the school, we will be turning the water fountains off but continue to use the bottle fillers. Alexander Public School received a great surprise today! Senate recognition of our school and robotics FTC team was provided to President Trump by Senator Cramer. It is a great honor and very exciting. The letter will be displayed in our trophy case by the front office. Congratulations to our FTC team and our STEM educators!

Tomorrow, Wednesday February 19th, is the annual spelling bee in Alexander. Just a reminder to all parents that grade PK, K and 7-12 are the ONLY grades that have school. Grades 1-6 will only come if they are in the spelling bee. All other students have the day off. If your child is in the spelling bee and you want them to ride the bus please contact your bus driver tonight. Buses will run at normal school times.
