The FTC team is looking for input to developing a basketball court as a new attraction in the Alexander City Park. If you have any questions about this plan the team encourages you to join us at the Park Board meeting on Thursday, April 1st at 6:30p.m. to discuss the details of the project.

ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL CHANGES:
The game times for tonight, March 29th, are as followed: Girls at 5:30 pm and the boys at 6:30 pm. This is a change to the previous time.
The game scheduled for March 30th at Williston Trinity Christian will ONLY be a boys game. The game will have extended quarters or possibly 2 games.

ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL GAME RESHEDULED: The 4th, 5th and 6th grade basketball games scheduled for Friday, March 26th has been RESHEDULED. The games will now be on Monday, March 29th. Game times are the same, 5:00 pm & 6:00 pm.
Reminder of the bus safety drill this afternoon in the main school parking lot. Buses will still run their regular routes. However, the main parking lot will be cut off from traffic starting at 2:45pm. Buses will run safety drills and begin their usual after school route on time. All non bus riding students will be picked up from the football field. All traffic will be diverted to the entrance of the Comets' Fitness Center (NW of the school) and exit from the football field. UPDATED - The attached image is the traffic route that will be used for after school pick up on Wednesday, March 24th. Please abide by the traffic flow outlined in the map.
Attendance vouchers will not be required for Alexander Grand March at the prom on March 27, 2021 in the Old Gym at 8:00pm. Please use the main entrance. Parents will be asked to promptly leave at the completion of the grand march and parent dance.
Wednesday, March 24th, the main school parking lot will not be accessible for pick up after school due to bus safety drills. Students will be on the football field for pick up. Please enter the school lot by the fitness center and exit the NE corner by the football field. A map will be posted on our website and on Facebook. Pickup procedure will be similar to a normal day just a different location. For student safety, please abide by the traffic flow outlined on the map.
A message went out today concerning Little Comet Basketball. The volunteers are aware of the conflict in the schedules between youth wrestling and youth basketball. Little Comet Wrestlers are encouraged to join the Little Comet Basketball program at the end of their wrestling season if they want to play. Go Comets!
Little Comets Basketball!
We have a group of volunteers who are excited to teach basic basketball skills to our Little Comets! The program will run for four weeks, three nights a week.
Practice will begin March 23, 2021 for PK-3 grade students at 6:00pm.
Please bring your student’s to the school using the main door on the south side. Coaches will greet the students on the first day at the front entrance.
Drop off and pick up will be at the main entrance only in order to alleviate congestion with other programs.
First Week of Practice: March 23, 25, and 26 at 6:00pm. A set schedule and second letter of the program will be sent out after the first week of practice.
