
PLEASE NOTE GAME SCHEDULE CHANGE:
The girls basketball game scheduled for Thursday, Jan 14th in Alexander has been changed from 3 games to ONLY 2. The JV will start at 5:45 pm followed by Varsity at 7:15 pm.

National Honor Society Applications - Juniors and seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are invited to apply to be a member of the APS National Honor Society. Students may inquire with Mrs. Faller if you have questions. Applications will be found in the office and are due January 28th.

Good Afternoon Comet Families, the USDA has extended the free breakfast and lunch waivers through June 2021. APS continues to encourage you to fill out a Free and Reduced Application even with this waiver because our federal funding is linked to the number of Free or Reduced students. Happy New Year!

Please note the changes for the upcoming Girls Basketball games:
Tomorrows game, Jan 5th, will be one varsity game vs Burke County starting at 6 pm.
Thursdays game, Jan 7th, time has changed to 5pm. Game is at Williston Trinity Christian vs Missouri Ridge.

As we ready for the second semester, please remember these items:
1. Student schedules for grades 7-12 will be available Monday morning in front of Mrs. Faller's office.
2. Upon arrival HS students shall report to their first hour class; elementary students will eat breakfast in their classroom or go outside for recess.
3. Water bottles MUST be clear or translucent.
4. All cell phones MUST be turned in during first hour classes every day.

The Alexander Christmas Parade has been postponed to the end of January weather permitting.

Alexander School will be hosting Hunter Safety classes January 8th & 22nd, February 5th & 12th. More information will be sent out later this week.

Please read the attached letter regarding attendance to athletic events during our winter season. The guidelines are based on the current regulations as established by the NDHSAA.


Parent letters for our upcoming Christmas Parade on December 17th were sent home Thursday, 12/10/2020, with grades PK-6th. Link for the letter and map are attached below. Please call the school with any questions or concerns.

Due to the extension of Governor Burgum's mask mandate, we have had to adjust our plans for our Christmas parade. Letters detailing the parade were sent home with students in grades PK-6 today and will be emailed to all parents as well. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the school. Hope to see everyone there!



If you haven't had the opportunity to pick a Giving Tree ornament, please stop by the school or have your student take one home. Be sure to write down which one you take and have them back to school no later than Wednesday, December 16th. Thank you to all who have participated so far.

Both Girls and Boys Basketball, grades 7-12, will start practice on Monday Nov 30th. Practice will be after school at 4:15 pm in Alexander. Girls basketball will be in the old gym and boys will practice in the new for the first week.

There will be a bake sale tomorrow sponsored by the robotics teams at the end of the day. All items will be $1-$2.

Turkey bingo in 15 minutes at Alexander School. Bring your non-perishable food items and paper products. See you there!

Don't forget Turkey Bingo & Canned Food Drive is this Saturday from 1-3 pm at the Alexander School Parking lot. We look forward to seeing you there! Remember to bring your caned/ boxed food to help us help those who need it this holiday season!!
