Friday: Locker Decorating after Lunch. 7th-12th Grades will report to their 5th hour class and then be released to their advisers.
Monday: Midnight Monday (Wear your PJS) - President Speeches at lunch and voting in Severson's classes, Around the World Ball Game at 3 P.M.
Tuesday: Tourist Tuesday- Bubble Gum Contest at 3:20, FanCloth Sales begin.
Wednesday: Where in the World Wednesday (Dress for your favorite location) - Mixed Teams Volleyball Game at 3 P.M.
Thursday: Wild Thing Thursday (Dress like your favorite animal) - Pep Rally at 3 P.M. Volleyball Game (student council will be selling t-shirts).
Saturday: Football Game (student council will be painting faces and selling t-shirts as a fundraiser), Homecoming Dance for grades 9th-12th from 7:30pm-10:30pm.

Flag football information notes will be sent home today, Sept 4th, for grades 1 - 4. Practice will begin tomorrow from 4 pm - 5 pm at the City park.
The FFA bake sale is tomorrow, Sept 4th from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm. Please do not send treats with peanuts or tree nut due to allergies.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mandaree is not able to make the JH football game scheduled for tonight, August 27th, and therefore has been cancelled. There will still be football pictures and a full practice tonight after school.
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Alexander Public School is looking for a minimum of 2 volunteer flag football coaches. We need a coach for the 1st/2nd grade team and also the 3rd/4th grade team. Practice needs to start Sept 3rd with first game Saturday Sept 7th in order to have teams for the season.
The FFA will be holding a bake sale on Sept 4th from 11 am to 12:45 pm. All FFA members are required to bring baked goods to sell and we welcome any donated goods.

Sport pictures for football, grades 5/6 and junior high only and volleyball, junior high & varsity only will be on Tuesday, August 27th after school. Forms will be passed out at practice.
Junior High and Varsity home football game for Saturday, August 24th has been canceled. Junior High game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 27th at 5:30pm, no date for Varsity game.
Any student in grades 1 - 4 wanting to be in flag football that HASN'T signed up please let the office know this week.
Welcome back to all students! Tomorrow students in grades 7-12 will report to the old gym at 8:00; at that time students will receive their locker assignments and class schedules. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
Varsity and Junior High volleyball practice starts on Monday, August 19th at 4:30pm. Please remember you must have a physical form turned in before you are allowed to practice. There will be a Varsity/JH Parent Meeting following practice on the 19th at 6:30pm in the new gymnasium.

Just a reminder to all Kinder and PK parents: Both Kinder and PK students will not start school until Monday August 19th. PK students that are schedule on Tuesday/Thursdays won't start until Aug 20th. All Kinder students have scheduled appointment on either Thursday Aug 15th or Friday Aug 16th. If you are unsure of appointment times, please call the school.
