
Good evening Alexander families! Tomorrow is the last day to purchase your family dance tickets for this Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00.

CORRECTION: Parent-Teacher Conferences will be March 19th and 21th (Tuesday and Thursday), 4:00-7:00 pm.

Parent-Teacher conferences for all grades will be held on March 19th and 20th, 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Parents are invited to come visit with teachers. Elementary students in grades PreK-5 were given information to schedule an appointment, if you were unable to do so please contact your student's teacher.

Good evening Alexander families, this message is to let you know that lice was found at school today. Since we have been cooped up so long this winter, it was bound to happen. I want to encourage all families to wash their student's winter coat and hats. We will share more information for prevention & treatment on our Facebook page and app.

Alexander Public School will not run buses tomorrow morning due to the blowing snow and blocked country roads. Please contact the office in the morning if you are not able to bring your student to school.

Friday, March 8th will be a makeup day for missing school due to weather. Buses will be running at normal time. Tuesday/Thursday Preschool students will have school this day.

Elementary wrestling parents: The Watford City and Dakota Rattlers tournament applications are due tomorrow, February 28th. Both applications are under the document tab on our Alexander District App.

Due to illness, Luke Holen's bus, bus 115, WILL NOT be running this afternoon, Tuesday February 26th, 2019. Parents need to make arrangements to pick up students. Grades PK through 6 are released at 3:40 pm. Grades 7-12 are released at 3:45 pm. Please call the office with any questions or concerns.

Just a reminder the Senior Parent meeting is tonight at 6pm in the commons area. Hope to see you there!

High School track will begin on Monday, February 25th at 4:15pm. A bus will transport them to and from Williston. There will be a Mandatory High School track Parent/Student Meeting on Tuesday, February 26th at 6pm at Williston ARC.

FFA Social on Saturday, February 23rd from 7pm-10pm. Grades 7-12 are welcome to come for activities and snacks.

Just a reminder to everyone that tomorrow, Friday February 22nd, is a scheduled school day. All students are required to come just like any other school day.

Alexander School was invited to Governor Burgum's Technology Showcase at the Capitol in Bismarck ND.


Alexander Public School would like to invite everyone to the school to send off the Comet wrestling team to the state tournament at 11:00 a.m. this morning. Come wish them well!

Reminder to all parents to turn in consent form for immunizations for your child if you received them in the mail. We will accept them till tomorrow-Nurse Heen.

Upper Missouri District Health Unit will be doing school visits on Wednesday, February 13th to provide necessary Immunizations. A letter was mailed home to all the students that are in need of immunizations. Please make sure to fill out the Vaccine Administration Form and return to school by Monday, February 11th. Please call the school if you have any questions or concerns.

Due to extreme cold weather predicted for tonight and tomorrow, the FIT and High 5 League scheduled for Feb 8th, is being cancelled. Everyone please stay safe and warm!
