Good morning Alexander families, the No Travel Advisory has been lifted. We will still begin school at 10:00 a.m. with busses running accordingly. Drive carefully and dress warmly.
There will be an organizational meeting for the After Prom Party on Tuesday, January 29 at 5:30 in Miss Johnson's classroom. All freshmen parents are invited to attend as this event is hosted by the the freshmen parents. Bring any ideas that night. If you are unable to attend but would like more information please contact Miss Johnson.

Come join us on Tuesday Jan 29th for a full evening of games. The afternoon will start at 4 pm with a Comet Crusaders JH girls scrimmage. Following the scrimmage there will be a full evening of games against New Town starting with the JH boys, Varsity girls and ending the evening with the Varsity boys. We hope to see everyone there!!
GAME CHANGE: The boys basketball game against Whiteshield scheduled for Friday January 25th has been changed to ONLY a varsity game starting at 6:30 pm.
Reminder to all Parents: The Student Counsel cookbooks that were ordered are ready to be picked up. Please be ready to pay at time of pickup.
The menu for Wednesday and Thursday have been switched for this week. Wednesday will be pulled pork, philly steak, coleslaw and beans. Thursday will be build your own pizza.
Junior High Boys Basketball game today, Tuesday January 15th, will be at the Missouri Ridge School in Williston at 4:30pm.
The Girls Basketball game that was schedule in Alexander for January 15th has been cancelled. The girls varsity team will have a game in Alexander on Friday January 18th, starting at 4:30 pm with a boys game to follow.
Just a reminder to all Parents: There is NO Friday FIT or intervention program tomorrow, January 11th. Both programs will resume on Friday January 18th.
Parents this is a friendly reminder to send the appropriate winter gear for students to play outside. Students shall bring boots, snow pants, a jacket, gloves/mittens and a hat to school every day. These items can be left in your student's locker. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
LOCATION GAME CHANGE: Junior High girls basketball game on January 8th at 4pm will be at Williston Trinity Christian instead of a home game in Alexander.

Alexander Public School has hired Mr. Allard as our PK-12 Dean of Students for the remainder of the year. The Dean of Students will work with the principal to instill a positive climate to emphasize mutual respect and safety. He will also work with students, staff and parents to resolve any discipline issues and celebrate successes. We are excited to add this new position to our school.
There will be junior high boys practice on Wednesday, January 2nd, and Thursday, January 3rd at 2:00 pm.
Varsity boys basketball practice has been cancelled for tonight, Dec 21st. Regular practice will resume on Wednesday December 26th.
