Parents and Players,
Girls basketball practice will start after school on Monday November 18th from 4-6.
The parents' meeting will be directly after practice at 6 in the lunchroom. At least one parent per player/family is strongly requested to be there.
Also, all players are required to have a sports physical completed before the first day of practice. The sports physical form needs to be turned into the school nurse prior to practice on the November 18th.

We are excited to announce the 6th year of our Giving Tree here at Alexander Public School! This cherished tradition provides gifts of both necessity and joy to our Comet families in need, ensuring everyone can experience the warmth and happiness of the holiday season.
To ensure we can plan and prepare, we kindly ask that you complete the attached form and return it to the office no later than November 20th. Our Giving Tree will go up on November 21st, just in time for our highly attended Turkey Bingo event.
Your information will be kept strictly confidential. To help us provide the most meaningful gifts, please include as much detail as possible, such as:
Sizes, colors, and preferences for clothing and shoes.
Ideas for fun gifts that reflect your child’s hobbies, favorite toys, or special interests.

If you have signed your student up to attend HI-5 on Friday and they will need the bus to or from, you MUST contact the office no later than Wednesday. Today was a milestone for our seniors! For the first time, those who are 18 had the opportunity to exercise their right to vote—and they did so with pride. All of our seniors took a mini field trip to the local polling location, guided by our enthusiastic Problems of Democracy teacher, Mrs. Severson. This field trip was about more than casting a vote; it was about connecting with the community and understanding the importance of civic participation.
They were greeted warmly by polling officials, who even shared their yummy bars with our seniors. The experience turned what might have felt intimidating into something familiar and exciting. Thank you Mrs. Severson, our students stepped confidently into their roles as young citizens, ready to make their voices heard. We couldn't be prouder of these young leaders, embracing their civic duties and contributing to the democratic process!
