We would like to kindly remind all families that elementary students attending athletic events must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times. Our playground is an unsupervised area during events and after school, students who pose safety concerns or disrupt the experience for others, will be asked to leave. Thank you for your cooperation.

Public Notice to Parents and Stakeholders
Alexander Public School learned of a reported potential threat in the Surrey School District. The Surrey Police Department has looked into the matter and has determined that there is no threat to the safety of students, staff, or the community.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Alexander Public School Resource Officer with the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed this information directly with local authorities in Surrey. As our students will be traveling to Surrey tomorrow evening for athletic competition, we want to reassure our families and community members that the situation has been reviewed and cleared.
To provide additional reassurance, there will be increased police presence by local authorities at the game tomorrow evening.
The safety of our students, staff, and school community is always our highest priority. We will continue to work closely with law enforcement to maintain safe and secure environments both at home and during school-sponsored activities.
