Congratulations to our Alexander Comet Boys Basketball Team and Coaches! It has been 30 years since the Comets have been to Regionals! To Celebrate and cheer on our Comet Boys Basketball Team please wear red on Monday, March 4th. We will also have a Pep Bus for students that will leave the school at 5:45. Students are responsible for the $5 admission fee and snacks. Parents will need call the office no later than Monday at 10 am to give their student permission. No exceptions. Comet Fans please come support our basketball team at Regionals in New Town at the 4 Bears Casino Event Center starting at 7:30. We are NOT stars shining but Comets EXPLODING GO COMETS!

Weston Hunter Benefit will be this Saturday, March 2nd at the Alexander Fire Hall beginning with a chili dinner from 5:30- 7:30pm. A silent auction will run from 5:30-8pm followed by a live auction beginning at 8:15pm. Come support Weston and his family!

On Monday, March 4 at 3:15, we invite all members of the community to come together in support with the Alexander School's students and staff for the boys' basketball team's departure to the regionals. This marks a historic occasion for the Comets as it is the first time in 30 years that our boys' basketball team has advanced to the regional tournament. We will gather on the street in front of the Lutheran and Catholic Churches to form a cheering line as the Comets depart. Monday is RED day, please wear red in support of the team.

There will be a pep bus for grades 6-12 on Monday to cheer on the boys basketball team for the opening round of the regional tournament. The bus will leave at 5:45 for the 7:30 game. Students are responsible for the $5 admission fee and snacks. Students MUST sign up in the office by 10:00 a.m. on Monday.

Friendly reminder that Friday, March 8th is a make-up day for all students except for Pre-K.

Spring Fling Family Dance, Sunday March 10th from 3pm-5pm for the entire family! Tickets will be available to purchase in the school office starting February 22nd. All ages are welcome and snacks will be provided.

Today the 6th graders packaged and prepared their cookie fundraiser. They worked hard during the whole time. Prepared the boxes, packed over 1200 cookies, managed their trash, counted their product and worked like a team. They did an amazing job. I am so very proud of them. Thank you to Mr. Wittmaier for helping manage our cookie factory today. Lastly, thank you to the Heens for the use of their enclosed trailer to transport our cookies. Have a great day, Mrs. Faller

Congrats to the boys basketball team! They are playing in the district championship tomorrow night at 7:30. There will be a fan bus for students, grades 6-12, with the sign up in the office. The bus will leave the school at 5:45. If your student is interested in riding the fan bus they need to sign up by noon tomorrow. Students are responsible for admission ($5) and snacks.
