NDHSAA changed dates of the regional volleyball this year. Next week's regional tourney will be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Comets first game will be at Tioga on TUESDAY, Nov 10th at 7:00 pm.

Tonight the Alexander volleyball team hosts New Town in the opening round of the District 15 volleyball tournament. Due to Covid-19 restrictions established by the state, ONLY those individuals with a voucher may attend the match. The voucher is not a ticket therefore admission will be charged at the door, which is $8.00 per individual. All individuals from ages 1-100 need a voucher.
We encourage all of our community to join us on Facebook Live to watch the match tonight at 6:00 p.m. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Faller.
The District Volleyball Tournament starts tomorrow. Alexander will host New Town at 6:00pm. Only those with vouchers are allowed to purchase tickets at the door, as seating is limited per NDHSAA regulations. Each player was allotted two vouchers only. You must have a voucher with you in order to purchase a ticket. Tickets are $8.00 for all ages. NDHSAA mandates masks for all fans. Open mats for interested wrestlers in grades 6-12 will start on Monday, October 26th, 6:00-7:00. Open mats will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Coach Simonson and Rykhus will be there.

NDHSAA Volleyball Playoff Restrictions:
The North Dakota High School Athletic Association has issued their postseason attendance protocols based on each county's risk level. Since McKenzie County is in ORANGE, the following will be the restrictions when we host tournament games in Alexander:
-Tickets will NOT be available to the general public.
-Two tickets per participant will be given to the HOME and AWAY teams.
-Masks are required for all fans.

Attention Comet Volleyball Fans: It is a District 16 decision that due to COVID-19, this year's District 16 Volleyball Tournament be held at the site of the higher seed. The dates will remain the same: October 29, 30 and November 2. Our first game will be held in Alexander. We will play New Town at 6:00 p.m. on October 29th.
