Friendly Reminder to All Comet Parents
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on November 4th and 6th from 4:00–7:00 PM.
Elementary conferences are by appointment only.
Junior High and High School conferences will be first-come, first served.

🎃 Halloween Treat Safety Reminder for Parents 🎃
As we gear up for a fun and spooky Halloween, we kindly ask all families to help us ensure a safe and inclusive celebration for everyone. Please avoid including the following items in Halloween treats or party supplies:
🥜 Peanut products
🌰 Tree nut products (e.g., almonds, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts)
🧤 Latex products (including balloons or gloves)
These items can pose serious health risks to children with allergies. By choosing nut-free and latex-free alternatives, you help create a safer environment where all kids can enjoy the festivities.

Alexander School has a few families in need of winter gear. We are looking for donations of the following items:
Snow pants: Men’s Small, Women’s Small/Medium, Kids’ Large, Kids’ Medium
Jacket: Kids’ Medium
Boots: Kids’ Size 11
Gloves: Men’s Small/Medium, and various Kids’ sizes
If you are able to help by donating any of these items, please contact the school office.

📢 Reminder to Parents: Flu Shot Clinic at APS The Flu Shot Clinic will be held on Tuesday, October 21 at APS. 📄 A parent letter and consent form were sent home with students on Thursday. ✅ If you would like your child to receive a flu shot, please complete and sign the consent form and have your child return it to school on Monday. 📧 If you did not receive the letter and form, please contact Nurse Heen at

As we enter the cold weather season, this is a friendly reminder that students who ride the bus must have appropriate winter clothing for both the morning and afternoon routes.
Elementary students are also required to wear appropriate outerwear for recess, including hats and gloves. Please note that a sweatshirt alone is not sufficient for our winter conditions.
If your child is in need of winter weather gear, please reach out to their teacher or the principal — we are happy to assist.

Elementary fundraiser orders will arrive on Thursday, October 23. Please make arrangements to pick up your items at the end of the school day.
A reminder that any online orders will be shipped directly to the customer, while all paper order items will be delivered to the school for pickup.
