This Monday was Martin Luther King Jr. day, and our elementary spent the day learning all about the great MLK! Martin Luther King is well known as one of the most influential leaders of the Civil Rights Movement, which fought for equal rights and opportunities for all, regardless of race. We have pictures from Kindergarten with their "I Have a Dream" hats based on Mr. King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech. Second grade made a timeline of MLK's life, Fourth grade made a colorful mural and Fifth grade had an open-chromebook quiz on this great man.
