Alexander School will be holding the Summer Acceleration Program for students in grades 6-12, starting June 23rd and is $65 per athlete. This is a 6 week program, designed to help athletes move better, stay healthier, become stronger and faster. The Comet Program will focus on Speed, Power & Stability training. The students will train 3 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 7am-8am and Wednesday from 6am-7am. Please contact the office with any questions or concerns.

Good News! The Comets' Fitness Center has reopened for the fitness members starting today! Please email Leslie Bieber if there are any issues with your pin or if you have any questions. Leslie.Bieber@k12.nd.us All active members in March have rolled over for the remainder of June. Please follow the fitness reopening guidelines posted throughout the center. It is crucial that all members abide by the guidelines.

Alexander Public School will be hosting graduation tomorrow, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. The graduation ceremony will be restricted to the graduates and their families. Everyone is invited to watch the ceremony as it will be livestreamed on the district's Facebook page. Community members who wish to give the graduates a card or gift, may do so where the graduate banners are downtown. There will be a basket for each graduate.

This week is our Year End BBQ!! Families are asked to bring all devices, including cases & charging parts, textbooks, library books and any school property during the hours of 11:00-2:00. The roads are under construction so please use Richards Ave and proceed to the north side of the school which is by the football field. Tuesday - last names beginning with A-G Wednesday - last names beginning with H-M Thursday - last names beginning with N-Z. This will be conducted like the packet pickups, you are asked to stay in your vehicle & a staff member collect your equipment. At this time, families will also receive a BBQ meal & award packets for the year. If there are any questions please call the front office, 828-3334.

On Wednesday, May 6th and Thursday, May 7th, families may pick up their students' items from their desks and lockers; this will also include packets for our elementary students. This pickup will be similar to the packet pickup, except families will be designated to a day based on their last name. Families who share more than one last name will go by the last name of the youngest student in their family. As you arrive at the school please contact the front office so we can be prepared; families are asked to park along the sidwalk at the school and you students' items will be brought to you.The school will be open at 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday.
