Due to popular demand the Alexander FFA will host a second charcuterie board building class on Nov. 17th.
On October 27th the middle school students will be celebrating the end of the quarter by having an auction where they can spend their Comet Cash. Students have received Comet Cash for a variety of things including perfect attendance, exhibiting good character, no tardies, etc. We are still looking for donations of items to sell at our auction. If you have any questions regarding the auction please contact Mrs. Faller. Thank you in advance for all donations!
Trunk or Treat
In collaboration with McKenzie County Sheriff's Department, Alexander Public School is lifting the lockdown as law enforcement has deemed no threat to our students or staff. Regional schools received an active shooter threat therefore all schools in the regional area reacted with safety protocol. Other law enforcement agencies and schools in the state of ND and surrounding states have received similar threats. APS will continue in a proactive manner for the remainder of the school day. We are thankful for the collaboration with SRO Swigart and the McKenzie County Sheriff's Department for keeping our students and staff safety as a #1 priority!
Good afternoon Comet families, earlier today we received information about a potential active threat in the region, therefore we as a school are taking precautions to ensure our students are safe. As soon as we have more information, you will be notified.

Junior High Wrestling Starts: Monday, October 24th Practice Time will be 4:30 to 6:00 Monday through Thursday
Dear High Five and FIT Parents, We are sending out this friendly reminder to parents of the students who need transportation to and from High Five and FIT on Fridays. Transportation requests are required by Wednesday of each week for all new attendees. If arrangements are not made by this time, we will not be able to provide transportation on Friday. If transportation needs change and your child will not be riding the bus, please contact the school office BEFORE 8:15am on Friday. If your child does not ride with no cancellation request made, the transportation privilege will be suspended.

The middle school students have been working hard to earn Comet Cash during the first quarter. On October 27th we will be having our first auction where students can purchase items with their earned cash. Items include baked goods, Comet gear, etc. Students earn Comet Cash by exhibiting the good behavior and skills of a Comet student.
